A little about me…
I’m originally from Portland, Oregon, which likely explains my love for rain, hoodies, coffee, and outdoor adventure.
I love riding my bike for long distances. Sometimes that means a 5-day trip from Pittsburgh to DC. Other times it means riding 200 miles all in one go. My fuel of choice is Oreos and gummy worms.
I love to travel — planes, trains, ferries, RVs, you name it. One of my favorite trips involved taking Amtrak in a full loop around the USA. No internet, no cell service, just scenic views.
I love my fluffy cat, Florence. She’d make a pretty great research assistant, if only she had thumbs! She tries her best though, reading research papers with me and making regular appearances on my Zoom calls.
